Money Lines in Palmistry

"Where's my money line?" is one of the most-asked questions in palm reading — and the honest answer is that there isn't just one. Palmistry reads wealth from a small cluster of lines, mounts, and one famous triangle. Here's the whole picture.

The money/wealth lines

The classic "money lines" are short vertical lines found high on the palm, beneath the fingers:

• Under the index finger (Mount of Jupiter) — read as wealth earned through ambition, leadership, and drive.
• Under the little finger (Mount of Mercury) — read as money made through business sense, communication, and trade.
• Strong vertical lines linking the fingers' mounts — traditionally counted as separate streams of income or earning ability.

The clearer and straighter these lines, the stronger the trait they represent. Faint or absent lines simply mean money plays a quieter role in the reading.

The Sun (Apollo) line

The Sun line — also called the Apollo line or line of success — runs vertically up toward the ring finger. It's a close cousin of the fate line but speaks more to recognition, creativity, and fulfilment than to a paycheck. A long, clear Sun line is read as a talent for being noticed and admired in your field; a faint one suggests success that's real but quieter. Despite the nickname, it points to satisfaction and reputation more often than literal fame.

The wealth/money triangle

The money triangle is formed where three major lines cross in the middle of the palm: the head line, the life line, and the fate line. Palmists read it like a vessel:

• A clear, closed, well-defined triangle — good money management and the ability to hold onto wealth.
• A broken or open triangle (gaps at the corners) — money that flows in but tends to slip away; a hint to watch spending.
• A large triangle — generous, expansive attitudes to money; a small one, a more cautious, careful approach.

Mounts linked to money (Jupiter, Mercury)

Beyond lines, two mounts (the raised pads at the base of the fingers) carry money meaning:

• Mount of Jupiter (under the index finger) — ambition, leadership, and the confidence to pursue wealth. A full, firm mount strengthens any money lines near it.
• Mount of Mercury (under the little finger) — commerce, cleverness, and communication: the trader's mount. A developed Mercury mount is read as a head for business and negotiation.
